Dermaplaning is a form of exfoliation using a sterile scalpel to gently scrape off the dead skin cells which are sitting on the surface of the skin. During dermaplaning vellus hair (known as peach fuzz) is also removed. Through the process of exfoliation, dermaplaning allows the skin to have better product absorption.
